Happy 4th Birthday Lilly and Abby

Lilly and Abby (Cooper and Tristan's TWIN cousin's) turned 4 and we celebrated their birthday with some pools, waterslides, four-wheelers, food and of course CAKE:)

Ok, Cooper wanted me to take a Picture of him UNDER WATER. So, that explains the picture above...?????

Bummed about the weather!

I had scheduled the kids photoshoot for this past weekend and because of the rain we have had in the afternoons, we had to reschedule:( We were dressed and in the car heading to the location and my cousin called and said that it was already raining at her house. Which, I was praying that it wouldn't because it had been such a beautiful day. I had really tried to prep the kids, and help them get excited about the pictures so they would MAYBE smile for Jennifer and she could get some good pics. When I turned the car around Cooper really was disappointed. So, we live near Aldridge Gardens, and I pulled in and snapped a few pics of them before the rain headed our way. Well, the kids did great for me. They were very cooperative and all smiles. I only hope they will be this way again for the REAL DEAL! LOL! I did get a few good pics that I thought I would share! Enjoy.

Goodbye Kristian and Justin

They came and went! The kids absolutely enjoyed having Justin and Kristian both here. The last visit we had them, this was after they had gone home and Cooper came into the kitchen crying. I said, "Cooper what happened, why are you upset?" He said, "Because I miss Justin and Kristian". :(

Look out Karate Kid

There's a new kid in "The House"! Justin gave Cooper some of his old Karate uniforms to play dress up in. Cooper has been kung-fu mode all yesterday! He had a couple of moves up his sleeve that I didn't know. He also remembered the ol Karate Kid move, from the first Karate Kid movie.

Painting Fun!

Kristian has an interest in painting, so when she comes to visit she always enjoys creating a new work of art! So, this time she wanted to paint a cherry blossom tree. I painted a new painting for my kitchen for the fourth of July. We had fun getting messy in some paint!

Looking for some fun for the kiddos?

My Dad's Kids, Justin and Kristian, are visiting us this week. Cooper, I believe is already getting on their nerves. God love him, he just loves them so much! He is of course exhausted, and over-tired! We have been finding things to do--to get out of the house! And not spend a ton of money! The Rave Theater has free kid's movies all summer long on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. This week they played the movie Marmaduke. The kids and I (Minus Tristan) went to see this funny kids movie! They really enjoyed it. Then we went to eat lunch and headed to the BOWLING ALLEY! This was Cooper and Tristan's first time to bowl. If anyone is interested, you can go to kidsbowlfree.com and register to receive weekly coupons via-email to bowl for free. The bowling shoes are not free. I can not believe how expensive bowling has gotten.  So, the free coupons definitely helped. The kids had a great time and it gave us something to do.
