Jib Jab Video

Jib Jab Video

Check out the this jib jab video my Mom made of the kids.  We did this last year and it is quite funny!

Cooper and Tristan Video on Christmas Day

We got home late Christmas Night and let the kids enjoy riding their new toys "Santa" brought them. In this video Tristan was so tired she was going to DRIVE HERSELF TO SLEEP and Cooper was just cracking me up!

Christmas Morning Video

Cooper woke up first on Christmas morning. He went immediately to check on if Santa had been to our house. He saw Barbie's Jeep and was so thankful his sissy got her jeep for Christmas, that he didn't even see what Santa had brought him. Really cute.

Christmas with Justin and Kristian

After Christmas we drove and picked up Justin and Kristian and are celebrating Christmas with the two of them. They will be with us til Thursday afternoon. Justin ask for duck tape. Funny huh? He has started making things out of duck tape and selling them at school. He said, "it's crazy what people will buy. One girl has asked me to make her prom dress out of duck tape.". That would be an interesting creation. However strange it may seem to me...Justin IS very talented at it. He has made ties for boys at school and sold roses for the girls. He made me a rose last time he was here. When we were opening presents he pulled a new rose out that he made me and said, "This one is much better." Very sweet.

Justin & Duck Tape

In my previous post I mentioned that Justin wanted duck tape for Christmas. He makes things out of it and sells them at school-ex:ties, roses, etc. And as strange as that may be to me... I have to say he is very talented. Here is a picture of a rose he gave to me with my Christmas present.

The Harwell's Christmas

Christ was born on Christmas Day!

After eating lunch with the Milazzo family, we headed to Blake's parents house and opened more presents and ate more yummy food. Marilyn and Donald got the kids both "Leap Pads" for Christmas- among other toys. But, the leap pads are basically a kids iPad. Which, they are always wanting to play once they walk in the door at Mimi's and D-John's. It is very cool... you can download apps, take pictures and video. Great Gift! Hopefully they will leave me alone with my iPhone! Ha! Wishful thinking.

Cooper really asked for mostly legos for Christmas! Again! Which means we will be building legos for weeks to come! YEA! :)

Christmas with the Milazzo's

Christmas is forever, not for just one day,
for loving, sharing, giving, are not to put away
like bells and lights and tinsel, in some box upon a shelf.
The good you do for others is good you do yourself...
- Norman Wesley Brooks, "Let Every Day Be Christmas," 1976

After opening presents Christmas morning we got ready and had Christmas with Poppy's side of the family. We got to enjoy yummy food that my Mom slaved over all morning and enjoyed seeing family and baby Parker. Cooper and Tristan loved all of their presents they opened.

Christmas Morning

 Christmas Morning. Happy Birthday Jesus!
And the angel said unto them, "Fear not! For, behold, I bring you tidings of great joy, Which shall be to all people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, which is Christ the Lord. And this shall be a sign unto you: Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger." - Luke 2:10-12

We left cookies and milk for Santa and his reindeer the night before and they gobbled it down...along with our dog Maverick!

Santa left letters for Cooper and Tristan

Christmas my child...is love in action!
Tristan was very delighted to find that she got her Barbie Jeep for Christmas!

I was trying to get ready to go to my Mom's house that morning while the kids were playing with their toys and Blake was putting toys together. I had just dried my hair and heard music, singing or something from the den. I poked my head around the corner and Tristan was sitting in her Barbie Jeep with her Barbie phone singing, "Apple bottom jeans, boots with the fur, she got the whole club lookin' at her, next thing you know, she hit the floor, shorty got low, low, low, low"! OMG! As soon as she was done I busted out laughing and I'm like, "BLAKE, DID YOU JUST HERE OUR DAUGHTER?" Where was our  video camera when I needed it? Man, that was the cutest thing.

Good night!

The kids are off to bed now...we will wake up and celebrate Jesus' Birthday! What a glorious Day!

Magic Christmas Dust

My Mom got the kids some Magic Christmas Dust that we sprinkled in the yard to help guide Santa's sled...

...and then we ran inside because we were freezing.

Christmas with Mama Jean

Last Christmas Mama Jean was in the Hospital because of her circulation in her legs...this year she has fallen and broken her pelvis. So, we did Christmas in Hartselle to be with my sweet Grandma. We always play dirty santa with the adults and bring some presents for the kiddos to open. Cooper has started feeling bad. He's congested and coughing. :(of course right before Christmas. You can tell in these pictures that he's just not himself.

 Coughing
 Chapped lips
He's trying really hard to smile, he just doesn't feel good.
