Camo Pajama Pant

Cooper has been kinda jealous lately because of all the sewing I've been doing for Tristan. I would actually love to sew for Cooper, but he doesn't like "handsome" clothes anymore. That's what he calls it. So I took him to fabric store and go figure, he picked out a camouflage knit fabric. Which was more expensive than any fabric I've bought so far! This is the result:

Valentine's Day

We had a good Valentine's Day this year. Tristan had gymnastics and wore her top I made. Blake got me some very simple flowers and put them in a mason jar. Which was perfect. I went to sew at my friend Lauren's and came home to eat a filet and mash potatoes that Blake cooked. Tristan came home from school with a sweet handprint valentine. It reads, I love you from the bottom of my heart!

The Frog Room

Cooper and his buddies built a detailed building/buildings. Cooper's teacher came to show me these pictures she took of the "breakfast club"! Ha! Cooper has been "into" building and details of what he builds since he was able to build. I've always said Cooper will be an architect or he will build houses when he gets older . His teacher last year even talked to me about how good his building skills were. She said everything has all kinds of details and it's nothing like what the other kids build. I believe it's going to be Cooper's gift. Or one of many!

Twirl Top

I sewed Tristan's Twirl top to match her pants! Lauren was so sweet to work with me ALL night long! Lauren's turned out much more professional looking:)!

Samford Bulldogs

I took Cooper today to have fun playing baseball with the Samford Bulldogs. Sanford's Baseball Team invited Vestavia Youth Baseball League to join them for Popcorn, Face painting, hitting, catching and a moon bounce with the team. It was FREEZING! I did tape a video, I still have yet to learn how to get the videos from my phone. So, the pics are not that great. But, it was a great chance to get Cooper out of the house and get ready for some Baseball!

Sewing Ruffle Pants

In the chaos of moving, I've managed to sew my first pair of ruffled pants...a huge thanks to my friend Lauren who had great patience to show me! Now we have to sew the twirl top to go with the cute pants!
This will show you a picture of the pants and the model who will wear them! They fit! Yea! You have no idea what I messed up on and still saved the pants!

We've Moved!

I haven't been blogging lately...because we just moved and it's been crazy, hectic, and exciting! We are very blessed and got the perfect home for our family and the school system we wanted for our kids. The house is basically brand new, but needed new plumbing, fixtures and appliances just so we can quote "live in" the house. Blake, me and one of Blake's friends moved our entire house in one weekend. Needless to say, we uploaded and then we were goin to get another load. Nothing got unpacked. Only beds and furniture put together and placed. So, with work, kids and life it will be next year before we get settled! Ha! We are very thankful and a very blessed family. We don't have Internet yet, so I will be trying to post from my phone. Happy Valentines Day!
