CupCake Chandelier Stand

Tristan is going to be 2 years old on Saturday! She had her photoshoot this past weekend, Thanks to my cuz Jennifer Neely. At the end of the shoot I just wanted to have her playing around eating a cupcake. I found this cute cupcake stand and saw so much potential! I painted it Pink and aged it with some glaze. It is so hard for ME to get Tristan to smile for me, so she of course was not cooperative for Jennifer. We made fools of ourselves trying to get her to smile and Natta! Oh well, haven't seen the pics yet, but hopefully Jennifer was able to capture a couple of good ones.

Handprint Wreath

The kids, or Cooper, wanted to make something to bring to Mama Jean in the hospital... So, we made a Wreath of their Handprints. It is suppose to look like the wreath is hanging on a window. The Red is Cooper's Print and the Blue/Green is Tristan's Handprint. Cooper was so excited to take this to her. We got out of the car and he said, "Mommy, Mama Jean is going to love this, because it is just Darling!" Hahaha. Yes it is son, it's just Darling.
Update on Mama Jean: She has been transferred to an assisted living facility just south of Hartselle. She was very excited to be closer to home. She has her own little apartment and seems to be settleing in.

Adorable Table

This is the cute cute table my Mom had bought me for watching her dog while she was gone. I love it. Her friend Teri sells some of her things in a store called Urban Cottage? Maybe, it's Urban something. Teri made my curtains and pillows for me in my den and she is very talented. Thank You Teri!

Withdrawls from the Internet!

Because I watched Javi Dog, My Mom's Dachsaund, while she was in Texas she wanted to thank me by buying me this adorable table I spotted at her friends store. I love it. I came to pick it up at Mom's house and I'm able to use the internet. We are at War with Charter right now, because they have overcharged us 200 dollars to our account and Blake is refusing to pay it. They will not let us pay our regular cable bill, that is the same every month, and resolve the disputed bill situation. No, they want us to pay it ALL and then resolve the issue. Anyhoo, I am so mad about it and have been having Internet withdrawls! It's pittiful, I know. I don't know how I ever lived without the internet before. Or even cell phones, can you imagine? Anyhoo, I have lots to blog about, but just am not able until our issue get resolved. Hopefully, by the end of the week! Maybe even sooner if I'm lucky!

Blake took Cooper to his office this weekend and Cooper was so excited! (He loves going to Daddy's office, even though sometimes he forgets he actually has to work with him and not play). But this time they made a trail behind Blake' s office so Cooper would have another place to ride his four wheeler. They rode on Blake's Fourwheeler to knock down all the branches and Blake kept getting thorns stuck in his hands and Cooper thought that was hillarious? Why is it when you get hurt, kids think its the funniest thing? Anyhoo, the trail was made and Cooper is getting to be quite the Little Rider. There is still a few things he needs to work on getting use to, but a couple more times practicing and he will be a pro!

Jewelry Holder

I had a window pane in the attic that I wasn't doing anything with and had seen several places where people turned these windows into jewelry holders. The one I had seen actually didn't have and glass in the window panes and there was chicken wire stapled to the back of the window to hang your earrings on etc. Well, my window did have some glass, so I painted it turquoise and aged it a little, by adding some glaze. I found some hooks at the local hardware store and used wire (for hanging pictures) for my earring holder on the bottom middle pane. It's very cute and a great space saver. I was running out of room because of all my jewelry and the necklaces were getting all tangled. So, this helped me do some organizing!

My Next Project

Ok, so Savannah totally needs this bed below. And how easy to do, I just need to find an old table at a thrift store and revamp it. I'm so going to do this for her, she is such a priss and would love it. I can't wait to be on the hunt for the perfect El Cheapo table! I will post as soon as I am finished.
