Cooper brought home some Name Cards that he made for Thanksgiving. His little fingerprints are the turkey. I love his handwriting. He wrote out...Mommy Daddy Cooper Tristan himself. We will be using these this year. Cute Idea!

Thanksgiving Name Cards
Turkey, Indian, and a Pilgrim
Can't believe Thanksgiving is in a few days. Makes me have major anxiety. Here are Tristan and Cooper...Tristan is a turkey (one that she painted at school) and Cooper is an Indian and a Pilgrim (both he made at school too!).
Cross Door Hanger
I am finally posting on my blog again. We have been super busy...just got back from the beach. Hopefully will have my beach pictures posted tonight. I have several things to post. I haven't had time to devote to my blog. But, wanted to share my burlap cross that I am giving as a gift to someone. I added 4 roses to the cross by the monogram.

Turkey Burlap Door Hanger
I finally got my cute Turkey hung today! I have had this painted for a month now. I just needed to find a hanger for my little turkey. Can't wait believe that Thanksgiving is around the corner. YIKES! That means Christmas will be here before you know it, too! I'm soooo not ready. :(
Tristan's First Big Girl Haircut
Tristan got her first REAL big girl haircut!!! I took her to my hair dresser, Steve, who has been doing my hair for at least 22 years. Steve got to give Cooper his first haircut and now he is giving Tristan hers . She didn't want to sit in the booster...so, as you can see Mommy got to hold her while Steve cut. Oh, well! Next time she will not want 'Mommy' to hold her. While Steve was cutting her hair, he was showing me all of her split ends. I started laughing and said, "Steve, I thought those were just natural layers!" HAA! He said now her hair will start growing a lot thicker. And he was right. I can tell a difference in how heavy her hair is after the cut.

Alabama vs LSU
LS-WHO? JK. Can't say that anymore! This weekend we headed to Tuscaloosa for the Alabama-LSU game. Wow, it was crazy in t-town! We always take the bus for one game a year. Usually the LSU game or the Auburn game. The buses Blake rents out of Nashville. They are tour buses. The first year we did take a bus to Tuscaloosa...it was to a LSU game. The bus that we had was Leigh Ann Rhimes tour bus. She wasn't using it that weekend because she was home in Nashville for the CMA's. Anyhoo, she knew that we were going to take the bus to the game and she is from LSU. So, when we walked onto the bus, there was an LSU baseball cap on the beside table. I thought we REALLY needed to have Nick Saban sign that hat. Then lay the hat down right where we found it when we left! Ha! I thought that was pretty funny.
Blake and I, along with some friends, headed to Tuscaloosa Friday night. We got the bus parked and situated and then hung out with some friends who met us at our bus. On Saturday, my Mom brought the kiddos down to tailgate all day. The kids spent the night on the bus Saturday night and loved every minute of all the excitement. They kept telling me, "this is fun Mommy". So cute. Their favorite part (AGAIN THIS YEAR) was the bunk beds that have flip down tvs and a curtain for privacy.
bunk beds on left and right. two on each side-4 total
Nice full size bathroom
Another bus that tailgated with us-a group of Hoover Police
Even though Alabama lost...It was a great time and
ROOOLLLL TIDE ROLL!

Gymnastics
Tristan has started taking gymnastics and she absolutely loves it! The picture above is her walking the balance beam by HERSELF for the first time. Hands on hips. She is really enjoying doing this and hopefully will gain some coordination through the process. Lord knows she needs it:)
