Questions about God...

Ok, Cooper has ALWAYS been very curious about God. Since he was probably late 2's, he began asking me questions. I HAVE to start writing these "questions" down...because they really are so sweet and I just  can't remember anything these days.
What Cooper asked me today was, "Mommy when you die, are you going to see God first and then he takes you to Heaven?"
OMG! Sweet, SWEET BOY! What is so funny about this, is that it's out of nowhere. It's like he just thinks about it all the time and he's just trying to wrap his brain around it all. I really feel like Cooper is going to be a worrier like me, his Mommy:(
Example: I can have crazy thoughts about things that will never happen. When my kids go to Hartselle with my Mom. I am a nervous tic waiting for my Mom to call and let me know my kids made it ok. The whole time I'm thinking, "omg, what if...". And Cooper is I think kinda like that.
One day I was folding laundry while Sissy was napping. Cooper was beside me building Lego's and he looks up at me with tears in his eyes and he says, "Mommy, I'm going to be so sad when you go to heaven!" Then I explained to him, that Heaven is not a sad place and not to worry about that because Mommy is going to live til she's 100! Then Cooper said to me, "Mommy, when I get to Heaven I'm going to run and find you first."
Another question that he's asked me was, "Mommy, if I die when I'm really old, am I going to be that same age in heaven?"
All very good questions he's firing at me...But, the questions keep coming. Which is good, I'm glad he actually pays attention when we pray and is curious. I just hope he's not going to worry all of his life.

The Polar Express

We rode on the Polar Express this weekend. We have done this for 3 years now. And the kids love it everytime. My mother in law buys everyone in the Harwell Family tickets plus my Mom and Mike.  Tristan was sure to tell Santa that she wanted a "Barbie Jeep". I think this Santa just wants to walk around and take pictures. He's not really wanting to listen to requests. :)

Picture above is the kids looking out the window to see Santa and Mrs. Claus as we enter the North Pole.

Wave goodbye kiddos and tell Santa that you are going to be good boys and girls so you can get what you want for Christmas;)

White Trash Christmas Party

We had a work Christmas party last week. Our party every year is ... bring a white elephant gift to play dirty Santa. This year, everyone decided to dress up as White Trash. It was a White Trash Christmas Party. I love to dress up in costume, so I was all game.  Charlotte, Me, Patsy, and Mande all dressed in, Property of Jose Quervo t-shirts, old holey jeans, tacky make-up, and tattoo's. It was great and I thought we would be the best dressed until I saw my dear friend  Patty. She is an Auburn fan (BOO) and she thought it would be oh so funny to come dressed as an ALABAMA FAN. Because you know, We are such white trash! I'm being very sarcastic! Anyway, I wish I had a full length picture of her attire. She had on PLEATHER leggings, red high heals a camo Alabama shirt and as you can see in the picture above...this MULLET! She was also in character all night. Saying in her most redneck voice, ROLL TIDE YALL. It was great! Would have been even better if she was wearing an Auburn shirt! HA

Santa Burlap

I found this Santa at my friends blog. She is much more talented than I am with the burlap door hangers. But, I saw this Santa and  I had to copy. I have been working on my Santa for 2 weeks now! I have been so busy with Christmas parties, Birthday parties, School, getting ready for Christmas and everything else in between. I finally finished painting him-he just needs to be stuffed and a wire hanger added. I think he is very jolly!

Hello Kitty

My Mom took Tristan shopping and Tristan picked out the following two outfits. The Hello Kitty is her absolute favorite. I don't know how she knows what Hello Kitty is? But, this girl wants to wear it as soon as we get home from school. She says, "I loves it mommy".
The picture below is a shirt my Mom picked out for her.  Tristan is trying on everything "Lima" bought for her in these pictures.
This picture above...Tristan looks just like I did. Those chubby little cheeks.

Shopping Done

I finally finished up all my Christmas shopping! Yea! I had to take my kids with me to get a couple of gifts at the Galleria. They were of course just wanting to ride the carousel. But, they now have a train that takes kids around the mall. I told them they could ride the train-but we aren't going to make this a habit! Ha! Well, I can now enjoy this wonderful time of year!
Merry Christmas

Burlap Christmas Ornament

I made this ornament-slightly big-but, thought it would be a cute addition to our tree.
